Artistic Director Michael Guttman is proud to announce the Thirteenth Season of The
Music Festival of the Hamptons, which will take place from July 11 to 27, 2008.
Founding Director Maestro Lukas Foss and Artistic Director Michael Guttman will
oversee an exciting and adventurous season at the festival tent and in other local
venues.
The Music Festival of the Hamptons, an incorporated not-for-profit organization,
is dedicated to the memory and inspiration of the legendary pianist, Benno Moiseiwitsch,
great uncle of the Festival's president and founder, Eleanor Sage Leonard. Ms. Leonard
credits him with her love of music and her desire to instill that same love and
respect for music in others by organizing these superb concerts in the Hamptons.
